And what a year this will be with changes happening left and right.
Let me start with a few reminders/updates:
– Effective January 22nd we need to start using the new I-9 forms when you hire a new employee. It is not necessary to go back and get new I-9’s from your current employees but you do need to start using the new forms. Here’s a link to the new document and the instructions. You are able to complete it online but it needs to be printed and signed in person. Electronic or graphic signatures are not acceptable. You must keep the original document officially; a scanned copy will not work. Read more!
