When’s the Best Time to Make a New Year’s Resolution? The immediate and obvious answer would be, “A no-brainer. At the start of the new year!” Personally, my answer is, “Never!” Why? For me, it’s simple. I have a deep aversion to making promises I can’t or won’t keep. In my younger years, I made many New Year’s resolutions. Honestly can’t remember ever keeping one for more than a week or two – and for most, a day or two. Somewhere in my 30’s, I decided to stop setting myself up for failure and stopped making New Year’s resolutions.
